The town is along the old Etruscan coast, it is very near the promontory of Baratti-Populonia and to the center of an important Etruscan archeological area, it is also near the “Parchi della Val di Cornia”, “Parco Gallorose”, “Giardino Sospeso” and “Cavallino Matto”.
